Miami takes control late to beat the Lakers in summer league
The Los Angeles Lakers fell to the Miami Heat, 80-76, in the California Classic summer league game on Tuesday night. Keshad Johnson and Alondes Williams each scored 21 points to lead the Heat, while Darius Bazley added 15 points and LeBron James scored 13 points for the Lakers.
The Lakers led by five points at halftime, but the Heat took control of the game in the third quarter, outscoring the Lakers 26-15. The Heat held on to their lead in the fourth quarter, despite a late rally by the Lakers.
